In November 2010, some companies and trade organisations from across the Communications, Marketing and Research sectors teamed up to form action group Collectif Re-création, with the aim of creating an annual gathering that would meet the needs of industry players and users in full.
Collectif Re-création wanted to add a new dimension to the sector’s annual gathering by jointly reinventing a trade show that would be representative of the profession’s inherent diversity, creating a powerful tool both for understanding sector trends and to help advertisers in the decision-making process.
After a call for tender, PR agency Empresarial was tasked with organising the event.
The result was the first edition of the Printemps des Etudes Annual Gathering of Communications, Marketing and Research Professionals, which was held at the prestigious Palais Brongniart conference centre in Paris on April 5 and 6, 2012.
The two-day event brought together 111 major sector players, attending some 51 meet-ups, conferences and round table discussions, as well as an exhibition featuring 54 stands and an assembly point for 12 young companies. The first Printemps des Etudes’ 1,785 professional visitors were thus offered a wide array of methodologies, products and services to help boost their research.
